I am going to paint the inside of the cabin some grp and a lot of plywood. is there a big difference from gloss boat paint and gloss house paint. other than the price!!!!

I used dulux exterior gloss colour matched to my GRP for a new engine cover. Needs a new coat now, but has lasted abt 7 years.

I am new to site and after posting what paint, I found my way around the site to look at old postings for paint. it seams good domestic paint on deck and inside. It is not the cost of paint more the choice of colour to keep the lady happy.

There are boats at my club that have had the hull painted in Weathershield or Berger paints and still look good after a number of years.
I intend to do mine with Weathershield this winter.
My interior and cockpit seats got one coat of Crown One Coat and seem okay after a season.
I don't think anyone at the club uses marine gloss!

ditto: Good quality paints like dulux are great for plywood and internal areas.
