You are ploughing you're own furrow in an empty ocean win your new Sunseeker 54 when you spot a lone sailboat a mile ahead. Do you drive past him ar 20yards so he can gawp in envy at your elegant craft or do you keep your distance and deprive of that privilege?

You are an evil Bond villain, so you drive over the sailboat, only to discover Bond has hauled himself aboard, and you might as well give up now, as you know you are going to die before the film ends.

It will always end in the yacht losing it's fishing gear , and their oh so hard fought for peace and quiet.
The 'wake-up' call will come no matter how far the "stink pot" keeps it's distance as there is an undiscovered law of wave/wake dynamics that states -. the more fun ,peace and quiet and solitude you are enjoying on your saily boat the bigger the wash -wake - discomfort is created by the @#$%$ in the MOBO.
The expression you see on the rag-and-stick owners face is not a gawp of envy.........

...got stopped by one without lights the other night - turned out to be the Dutch Customs cutter! And that was just after being stopped and searched by the French one 4 hours previously.

Not before you have revealed to Bond your entire plans for taking over the world.

Oh an easy one. You make a clear move to starboard to pass way behind him , only to find 30 seconds later he's doing a 'gybey thing' to put himself back a little too close for comfort as there's only one other boat on the ocean and everyone knows you have right of way.

Close to starboard to show him your sleek port profile, then circle round to show him how manouverable your 'boat' is then a final high speed pass to port showing off the fordeck candy.

He'll really appreciate the company, especially if you share your taste in music at a billion decibels.

So much class and style, those stinkpots. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
