Boxer shorts with the fly at the back ?

Long white night shirt ?

rubber wet suit ?

blue boiler suit.

large white towelling nappie ?

red flannel long johns with flap at back?

Come on enlighten me . Theres nothing in the sailing manuals about correct night wear

At last a sensible question /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Stark bollock naked is my preferred , but not sure how the skippers would react if I emerged tripping over it in the morning , so shorts kept handy

Got short legs, have you? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

S.B.N. is my choice, too. No chance of tripping over it, especially with the mild weather we've been having.

Need to be careful not to 'take someone's eye out' on occasion, tho... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I bed down on the boat wearing just a life jacket and sea boots. Occasionally, I may don a tam o shanter, but it really depends whether I am feeling a little Scottish that night.
By the way, she says 'Hello'.

I always wear my crusty Musty Nightie, breathable with a built in inflatable aid in case of nautical disaster. A nightcap, is also a musto, with a wee built in radar reflective bobble at the end.

I prefer not to be encumbered by clothing in bed. I warn the crew of that and tell them I get dressed to come on deck if there's time. If they leave the call till the last minute I may not. Up to now I've always been called in good time up to now.

Its all a case of how confident I am with my shipmates. On some occasions I have removed my shoes and oilskins on rare occasions both.

blue satin, shoestring straps, mid calf. Satin is the best material, because you can rotate in a narrow bunk without disturbing the bedding.

I'm not keen on this bollock naked bit .

Seems to me that in emergencies one has to ensure one is ready to confront them . Winding winches , pulling on ropes etc comes a little too close to what I still consider precious .

Rope burn , strangulation etc and having to put a rolling hitch on JT to free him from a jamb in a winch is just not my cup of tea so chaps my minimum is to keep my assets well protected with whatever is fashionable enough to ensure that
