Looked out the window a few minutes ago and saw a yacht towing its dinghy moving towards Hurst Narrows. Nothing unusual, except there was something small and red ahead of it (didn't have glasses on at the time).
Grabbed the binoculars and realised the "red thing" was the sail of a dinghy sized yacht (15ft?) with junk rig, cream topsides and the skipper apparently cacooned inside a clear "pilot house structure". He may have been bouncing around a bit but I'm sure he was warmer and drier that the crew sitting in the cockpit of the following yacht.
The attached picture is not good but I estimate the larger yacht as approx 35ft so gives an idea of scale.
So has anyone any idea of what this mini cruising yacht is?
