what is striking at low tide at grandcamp maisy?

sailed from carentan to grandcamp maisy last week - whilst locking out of carentan a lady when we mentioned we were going to grandcamp said have a look at low water as there is something unusual there- we did but could see nothing unusual at all - was neaps so not sure what we missed?

anyone know what she was referring to ???
