I am going to replace my badly crazed windows with new perspex or lexan.

I have read that some sealants can damage plastics.

It will be bedded to an aluminium frame , which in turn will be beddded to the GRP .

Anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Regards

Carl

I used the bedding strip used for conservatory windows. It comes in a long strip from a builders merchant. Fitted new windows 8 years ago and still no leaks. My windows have a slight bend and when using mastic it used to squeeze out when screwing in. With the strip it stays the same thickness all round the window

I bedded my glass into the frames with PU40 from toolstation. The frames were bedded onto the GRP with butyl tape from a caravan shop. I don't think either would react with perspex or lexan.
