At the 2005 Southampton Boatshow my formerly Westerly owning father in law was very excited to go and see the new Slovenian Westerly GK34, build out of carbon fibre.

We had to queue with other Weterly enthusiasts and made several jokes about 'how could they launch a Westerly without a bilge keel option?'

All in all, the GK had very little in common with the Westerly's those in the queue knew and loved but what there was was a boat will a well designed hull, made out of carbon fibre and with a price tag of around £130k.

Did any sell? I have heard nothing of them since.

Along these lines Ken how about a black fully carboned up twister? "Twister of DuPont" perhaps?

I sometimes wonder whether to get a midstream mooring on the Hamble you have to sign an agreement to never go anywhere!

Named "Giant Killer", failed to live up to its name and did rather poorly on the racing circuit, if I remember correctly.
