Where could be better for a south coast (UK) based vessel to spend last week's glorious weather than here ? :-

Light south easterlies, sunshine all day long. Best week's weather I have ever had afloat. Fortunately if no one else knows the location I might have it all to myself next Indian summer.

Hmm, think that is the small bay just E of Braye Harbour on Alderney. Spent the night in that spot last year, leaving on a dream passage home to the Solent.

The answer was actually there for all armchair navigators to see - in the title - Saye Bay, Alderney, highly recommended in appropriate conditions.
