I am halfway through "A summers Grace" and as yet she has not mentioned much about 'Grace O Malley' her Cornish Crabber Pilot :( I'm too impatient to find out what happened to it, if she still owns it and/or what she has now!

Thanks - a Victoria 38.

I wonder what happened to the CC Pilot, I'm hoping she mentions a bit more about it in the rest of the book. Time for a cup of tea and a read :) Ahem...I'll go to work later!

An excellent read but you'll find she doesn't say much technically about the boat. A deliberate choice I understand as I once read an article by her on writing about sailing for a non-nautical audience and how to make it ring true without jargon.

Geat book - just re-read it last week.

The Crabber must have been very cramped for 4+ by modern standards, jst have been very disciplined.
Wonder if she still has the barometer prints showing the ups and downs (of emotions, not pressure)?

Yes plenty of room with quarter berths, settee births and V berths, having two small children helped but they often had a fifth passenger - as said maybe not big enough for some used to sailing around fixed double beds
