Certainly look comfy and stylish. I like the slip on idea. Boatshoe leather laces seem to come undone easilly.

Crunch question ,how much?

If you would like me to road test a set .Send me a pair of size 8/42 I will give you an in depth report after a thorough trial.

What's the sole pattern?

Slip ons slip off too easily. Just catch the heel on a guard wire or other fitting and splash!

They look effeminate, they don't grip the deck, they will fall apart in the washing machine and they're excessively overpriced. Not just yours I hasten to add, this applies to all shoes sold as boaty type deck shoes.

If the company making / selling them use forums like this for free advertising it makes me wonder what cost-saving measures they take in the manufacturing process. Thank you for drawing them to my attention: I wouldn't touch them with the proverbial.

Poo

Someone on the mobo site said the Fidels look like poo.
This could be an interesting concept. What else can be fashioned from this resource?

A couple of posters have said that the shoes are effeminate - well i'm a women and they're not to my taste at all. I go either for a seriously macho technical pair- or pink deckies, so these fit neither criteria.

Look, I'm the MD of a research and brand planning outfit and suggest your methodology is flawed. Bung me a fee of say £50k and I'll confirm to you that the shoes hold very little appeal. But for that you get psychographic profiling, motivational analysis and loads of really long words.

And no, I wouldnt be seen dead in them!
