Re: Nah..

I have used my own training theory, which thus far seems to be working okay.

I believe that you only have X amount of heart beats in your life, everyone at birth is assigned their number... So they are not to be wasted running on a large rubber band in a room full of other people running on large rubber bands and then being charged you to do it is outrageous! Maybe a lot of these gyms are in cahoots with Southern Electric and they are using you to harness cheap power!

However, I agree your heart needs to be strong, so by clogging up the archeries a little, thus making it harder to pump blood round makes you heart stronger by the day. You need a little resistance for those intense, sitting comfortably, sessions. I recommend M&M cakes to help you accomplish maximum clogging.

You can argue about rest rates and fitness levels, or alternatively find a nice comfy arm chair, stay still, keep your heart rate to the minimum, eat cakes and drink beer.

In fact I may open a gym full of arm chair recliners with refrigirators in the arm rests.....

Live long and prosper! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
