What do you antifoul your saildrive leg with?

With what proprietry concoction does the team think I should gloop over my saildrive leg?

Almost any, as long as its not Copper based, also antifoul an area around the hull and leg interface.

Copper base will cause pitting of the alloy.

Not much help to you I'm afraid as I can not recall product name but I have used with satisfactory results, for the past 7-8 years, a two can spray - undercoat gold, top coat black - cost +/- $16 a can. Try checking West Marine who I think may stock it.

Another vote for Trilux. Used it for 7 years, antifouling performance on the leg / prop doesn't seem any worse than with the copper based stuff used on the rest of the hull, and little sign of corrosion.

Another vote for Trilux. Six years and generally similar performance to the various copper-based products that I have used on the hull.

I also use Trilux. All wherry needs to do is check that whatever paint he is going to use is suitable for use on aluminium.
