Hi All

Replacing my T40 covers. Price is very similar for either option so what do other forumites prefer -

JB or Flexicovers? Flexicovers was the OM as far as I am aware. JB seems highly recommended on the forum.

2 options based on research and location.

Any thoughts, comments are welcome!

Yes, Flexicovers were the oem supplier. There are a couple of issues with the original covers, most notably the poor design of the closure round the companionway. Jim designed a neat solution for this on my boat. JB makes good covers but has a tendency imho to make the fit too tight - so my suggestion would be to speak to him on this point before you give him the job.
 
Flexicovers have a little sponsored ad on my website so I have to declare a minor commercial interest but having the original CAD files they will always do a great job. Be warned though, these guys can be very busy so get in there early.

I think my new boat has JB covers and they are tight. I don't know if they are the original design but they do have some neat features for example the ability to roll up the each panel above the windscreen separately and store these within a pouch that runs above. Alternatively these panels can be complete removed. The side panels can also be removed separately. The closure around the transom gate is also a separate piece.
