Also note that women are far better at seeing slight differences in colours than men are.
So you may be happy with the colour you mixed, but she won't be.

Pleased to say that Madame approves my choice of colour, including the shade of grey. I also managed to get a fair approximation of the grey deck for repairs. Far from perfect, but white filler on a white deck is very rarely a perfect match anyway.

My antifoul colour is always red but I do paint the inlets/outlets with a ring of white so they can be seen if /when I dive down to check the skin fittings.

Some years ago we had a boat loose its keel and turned over it had black antifoul and was not easy to see in a dark colored sea. white could also have the similar issue white white houses at sea

Fortunately, I understand that no one's ever managed to turn a Catalac over. Since Madame isn't much of a fan of the flappy bits, they only go up in the most benign of conditions. Otherwise, we're a mobo,
