What Cheper Fuel at Cowes?

Ok so I moved my big new toy, with the help of someone who know what they are doing from Portland to Gosport. I had heard that you could get cheap fuel in Cowes, circa 60 or 70'something ppl. This was also believed to be the case by my helper, well compared to me, more the expert. Anyhoo, when I got to the fuel dock/barge/thingy which was on the West side of the river, I was told it was £1.08 for 60/40. This was more than the price at the home marina and so I apologised and moved on to Gosport where I filled up at the cheapest so far. Not that "far" is very far thus far.

So where is this elusive cheap fuel in Cowes?

As you are obviously a commercial sort of chap you should have asked for the commercial rate which is £0.79 at Cowes Fuel or £0.80 at Lallows.

Yes, if you were doing a professional delivery, then you will get commercial rate at the West Cowes quay.
