What are these called please?

I'm just wondering when I will be able to use this Vas. :)

I did say useless info of the day, didn't I? :D

when you retire and buy a decent size saily thing and you tour the Med, reach Greece, haul out for a/f and anodes and realise that a couple of them need replacing, THEN you'll use it...
although by that time you'll have forgoten it and do a pantomime performance at the shop :p

Sounds like a plan Vas. I can always contact you when I struggle with the translation. :)

um, wasn't it a Lakesailor? - looked perfect to me :-)
No. For it to be Lakesailor, OP has to thank the second giver of the correct answer. I was the first giver of the "skin fittings" answer in #5, and Scubadoo repeated "skin fittings" in #7, thus setting the wheels in motion for a Lakesailor. Had OP thanked Scubadoo it would indeed have been a perfect Lakesailor, but in fact he (OP) thanked RobMcHugh (#3) who didn't actually mention "skin fitting" in his post. Thus, it wasn't a perfect Lakesailor.

All imho of course. I defer to The Man In Ambleside :D

Like your new avtar by the way. Was that taken with the quad copter or a proper helo?

Yup, was time to change to a pic of new boat. Old avatar was Match 1. Taken broper helo. The photography helos zapped me last weekend off Pampelonne beach (nr St Tropez) and got some nice shots, which I bought. Samples below in low res - I have 12Mb versions
