Can you believe somebody trying to sell the RNLI's Sea Safety Guide, which they give out free, on ebay? Nothing illegal, I suppose, but you can bet he/she doesn't give them any of his proceeds!! If I knew how fill his inbox with junk mail and spam, I would.

Question to seller

I agree it's a bit cheeky, but hardly a crime warranting the level of indignation, surely.

have to disagree. decent people donated hard earned cash to pay for the books .This lowlife is profiteering from others generosity. He might just as well nick the plastic lifeboat you put donations in off the bar in his local .

On one level I agree that the free market should prevail - there's loads of stuff on Ebay that is sold for more than you could buy it elsewhere - cheap boaty stuff from Lidl and much more under every category. Just because it's a charity that produced it doesn't change anything, or the value of the information to the recepient. It just demonstrates how many mugs there are.

I've worked out that your signature says "dogwatch".
Now I just need to work out why you've done it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
