What a weekend

Managed to get out Friday afternoon, anchored in Totland bay for the 2 nights.

Windsurfed Sat/Sun between Totland and Hurst castle.

Three BBQs eaten.

Came back home about 5 last night around the South of the IOW. Stopped in Vetnor for a quick swim then back home.

Best weekend for 2 years I think.

PDG for us too.
Sat am a good run out to the islands, bit bumpy round 'the heads' but smoothed out later.
Through the notorious Jack sound and on to a secret secluded beach..... glorious sand and only us and 1 other boat there.

Back to north haven for the night on a mooring .... amazing watching the puffins/shearwaters/kittiwakes etc coming back to roost... like a scene from Hitchcock at times.

Bit rolly when the tide turned but ok later.

breakfast of Croissants followed by a refreshing dip then back to the beach... all on our own this time.

Great run back.... opened the taps and burnt some fuel!

even got onto the berth perfectly with an audience.

Yup... one of the best w/e for a long time. Hope its the first of many this year
