Just had the most fantastic week and a bit on the boat. We arrived Friday 14th May in the evening. Saturday and Sunday was spent messing about, doing a bit of cleaning, and helping Phil 2 bottles to fit his snap davits.

Tuesday we left PD heading for Conwy

The bridges looked well in the sunshine, Britannia Bridge.

Swellie rock was well covered by the time we passed it and the current wasn't running too fast.

We approached Conwy via The Swatch, accompanied by Phil 2 bottles on Sunshine Sally (MF 805)

The view of Conwy Castle is stunning from the river

Wednesday lunchtime saw us cast off and head for Puffin Island, we actually saw a few puffins for the first time.

One of the Mussell boats came past PD on Thursday night before the fog rolled in

Friday morning saw us setting off for Porth Dinllaen, solo this time but we did stumble across Kwackers and his crew on the way towards the bar

Absolutely beautiful at Porth Dinllaen, if a bit misty on arrival

The dogs enjoyed the beach

We enjoyed the food, drink, peace and quiet.

Liz talked the RNLI Skipper to give us a tour of the boat and boathouse, thanks Mike! They're having a new boat, boathouse and slipway later this year, the plans are very impressive.

Cheers guys, great pics. I see you tan just like my SWMBO - a delicate shade of lobster!

I see two guys jumped off the Britannia Bridge this week & swam ashore on the Anglesey side - to a reception from the Heddlu (Police Cymraeg).

My mooring used to be just to the left of your dusk picture of Conwy Castle. Absolutely stunning location - but £200 a year dearer than Caernarfon, no parking, less sheltered & no dinghy store, plus a half mile dinghy trip across dangerous currents.

Kwaka in shades! It looks like a drug run! Oh, I know, they'll have been delivering Haydn's "smokes". :D

Thanks for the pics, sorry i wasn't around to annoy you in person! :p

Great report. Our paths must have crossed a few times, but b=never spotted you.

On Sunday we were on the seaward beach on the headland of Abermenai, water skiing, wakeboarding, BBQuing and just generally having a great time....all 12 of us!

Simply magnificent, Philiz. Looks like you couldn't have had a much better time without it being illegal.

The report/photos certainly reflect what you say about the cruise Phil, very nice indeed.

Always love the dog pics, I guess like most people do. We have a similar lifejacket for our little man also.

Looks as though your season is off to a great start, thanks for sharing.
