What happens to the acidic outflow? In fact, what happens in a "proper" installation. Eber recommend drilling a Ø5 hole to allow the residue to drain. What is the effect of sulphuric acid on fibreglass?

What effect of the exhaust gas on humans ?? ( I believe there should be a tap!)

Just checking on something else and see that Eberspacher indicate that the temp of the hot air after 12" of ducting is 140 to 170 degrees. ( My bench check at this distance is to see how long I can hold my hand there.....usually about 3 to4 seconds with a good heater!!)

If this topic interests you (no specific person) you should buy an inexpensive IR thermometer. BTW, they do not read shiny surfaces acuratly, so paint the spot black.
