SWMBO and I left Southsea Marina yesterday lunchtime en-route for the Bridge Tavern in Portsmouth for a couple of G&T's acompanied with chicken salad "al Fresco" on board the good ship Ballena.

Bit of argy bargy with a couple of jet skiers creating a wash by the pub, crowd at the pub firmly on our side joining in with the shouts of "prat" etc. The best bit was, as we left the dock the police were tickeng them off---FANTASTIC.

We then had a trip up the harbour to have a look at the old " Southsea" such a shame to see the state that its in now, SWMBO and I had our first date on her in 1987 ( I really know how to show a girl a good time).

Overnight at Camper & Nicholsons followed by good fry-up and off for home, anchored up in Langstone for a few hours relaxation and then back to the marina.

Let us know if you had a good weekend too

Happy1, lets hope things get better for you.

Nice lunchtime swinging round the hook at East Head, could have been better if we had put the rib on the davits, having promised the chilcren a run ashore as an adventure, then the slip was blocked:-(

SWMBO still avoids being seasick by taking the wheel, I am beginning to spot a pattern here, and she likes to steer too.

Seasick in Chi harbour though, there must be a remedy for someone who refuses Stugeron. Have people had success with pressure bands?
