what a coincidence - it's also my birthday tomorrow and i got the flue today. im my case i decided to sweep the chimney. i rammed the brush up the flue so vigorously that i knocked the pot off the top and had to get up the ladder to replace it.
but there is one consolation. it proves that us over 50's can still get it up!

It was my 50th a month ago and my wife had the same dilemna, which she solved very neatly by puying me a 50 year old single malt whisky.
