Great afternoon at Weybridge Mariners yesterday when Chris Turner, the ATYC Chairman, officially opened their new club house. Great turn out from many people and clubs that had assisted, not one, but TWO Mayors, and a fabulously sunny afternoon to boot. All a far cry from that dismal winters night when the disastrous fire decimated the old building.

Now the new one is bigger and better and probably has the finest balcony of any club on the river!

Oh, and Suzanne's Gran introduced herself to me - that was nice !
