Can anyone tell me the code for the 12 hour chart from Wetterzentrale Bracknell,
I can find the 00 UTC and the T+24 00 UTC and all the 12 hour intervals after that, but not the T+12 00 UTC?

you'll get it from here which, i think, is the only place its published and only for midday and is part of the met's 3 day animation.

most sailors i know aren't out their bunks by midday so no point is there?!

Further to my last above, the surface chart doesn't tell the whole story if you are interested in forecasting for yourself. What is equally important is the picture at 18000 feet, I think its the 850mb chart, and it gives more about what might happen to lows at the surface, ie whether they are likely to deepen or fill in. I haven't mastered that yet myself, but a good book on meteorology will teach you.
