Wetline Rowlocks

I got a wee bit enthusiastic when rowing the inflatable dinghy and managed to destroy one of the rowlocks.

It's a Wetline 260. The bit that broke is a plastic fitting with a stud set in it for the oar. It takes a plastic cylinder which is used to attach it to the moulding on the dinghy.

Does anyone know of a good on-line source for spare parts for Wetline inflatables? Tried the local small chandler but no luck.

My XM rib suffered similar (I think - no picture) damage to yours and I had to make modifications with bits of stainless from a boarding ladder.
I hate those pinned-on oars that you can't feather in a headwind.

It might help if I got some pics of the broken bit. I was going to bring it back to photograph but I forgot, so I'll try again next weekend.

I was able to get a wetline replacement outboard bracket through a local chandler Seateach so try a few more chandler would be my bet.

Mine did exactly the same. Not sure where you are, but Largs Chandlers got my replacement part without difficulty.

I managed to get one on-line at Marine Bazaar of Plymouth. It arrived in good time and was easy to fit, so so far so good.

There were a number of others on-line but the big problem was that many didn't have a photo so I couldn't be sure I was ordering the right bit.

TNX for the link re Marine Bazaar - I too have a Wetline dink (a tiny 1.8 m round tail) and one of my rowlock fittings fractured through some over enthusiastic welly on the oars recently......
so I think I shall order a couple, as the other one is bound to go at some stage as well.

A Pal is visiting Barbados in a few weeks from England, so I am busily compiling orders for various wee bits and pieces that are easily obtainable by mail order in England, and very difficult (if not impossible) to find here.

Oh well, so much for Marine Bazaar - after placing an order with them, and the website saying that they had 6 items in stock, I received a very polite and apologetic email from them saying that they actually did not have any in stock.
(Maybe there was a run on them after everybody saw this thread?)

I have tried looking up websites for the other suppliers mentioned above, but not much luck - can anybody else suggest a supplier who ideally has a photo on their website for better identification?

I had an old envelope with the alternatives scribbled over it, but I think it must've been thrown out. I just did a search on Yahoo (UK only) and waded through the results for several pages. There were two or three alternatives, but Marine Bazaar was the best combination of price & delivery that I found.
