My Wetline ECO 260 dinghy sits outdoors and has done so for the last 6 years. UV damage has caused the cover straps and carrying handles to disintegrate. Might just get new webbing and buckles sewn on by the local sailmaker, but wondered what new dinghy covers suitable for the ECO 260 are worth looking at. Couldn't find much online, but cannot believe I'm the only person looking for a new cover!

Any suggestions? I usually keep the dinghy 'rolled up' with the floor slats in-situ, so a replacement cover must not be any smaller than the original.

Thanks.

The bag has probably had it as well if it's anything like mine. Reply from seago was don't leave it outside it's not uv resistant. I now have mine in an old sailbag. I could have purchased a new bag from Seago but it would just go the same way as the other one.

Just watched your video - you bag looked exactly like mine! Carp design. I've no option but to keep the dinghy outside as I've no locker space big enough. I do want to keep it protected from the sun, though. Might just see what a replacement sprayhood-material replacement costs, though a sailbag might be a much cheaper option!

The sailbag was a bit big but as long as the dingy is rolled up tight with the painter tied around it by the time it goes in a sail bag and is wrapped around a few times with a rope to tie it down it is as good as a new bag. Actually it's a bit better because it was a pain to get it in the original bag.

I made a "new improved" dinghy bag last year from Ebay-supplied navy blue PVC-coated fabric (cheap fake Sunbrella), 2" polypropylene black webbing and plastic buckles, and a domestic zig-zag sewing machine with UV-safe thread. Made it slightly bigger than the original. Only problem so far is that the cheap fabric blue colour has faded very slightly in the sun - dinghy normally lashed down on deck. My boat has a HUGE storage locker (could almost be another cabin) in a stupid place with awkward tight access via three internal doors. Down companionway, into heads, through shower area, through tiny opening door. Sun Odyssey 35......
