Westline

Re: Westline - question for Jez

Why are there no pictures of the interior of the 34 apart from a sketch. Isn't the interior finished yet or has the digital camera run out of film? ;-)

Re: Westline - question for Jez

Hi jaws,

I have a couple of interior shots now, in fact I did send one to MB&Y so will be in the next issue. The boat is so new the initial sea trials were done without the interior finished.

Also, we are changing the fabric for the UK, as the chosen material for hull one (a customer boat and choice) is not the best. We will be offering Alcantara or Leather in a choice of colours. I can post some pics or PM them to you.

Re: Westline - question for Jez

Why not post them up. There's nothing better than looking at pics of a sparkly new boat.

Ok,

As I say, there are some spec differences from the UK boats. We will be offering 5 colours of Alcantara as standard, with the option of leather on the saloon settee.

Re: Westline - question for Jez

/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Didn't notice that.

BTW, there are teak grates for the floor in the shower and head, but they weren't fitted when the photos were taken (I know how eagle eyed you lot are!)

Re: Westline - question for Jez

Yes. In the cockpit.

Its a Scandi thing, but actually very sensible when you think about it. Keeps the smells out of the cabin and means you are on deck where the party is. Covers are very well insulated, together with the stadard cockpit heating it gets nice and toasty up there even in winter.

It wont appeal to everyone, but I asked myself how often I cooked on board the 330 and the answer was 0. Mainly it was making lunch...

Re: Westline - question for Jez

I assume the lack of cooking on the 330 was nothing to do with the fact you would not buy your good lady a microwave then???? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Re: Westline - question for Jez

Good point. Apart from CI's paltry cooking area, I decided to remove the cooker and fit a work surface in the gap it left and I can stand the new gas cooker on there if I want (but I don't want) or I can use the cockpit area which is altogether more suitable.

And as you say, why would you want cooking smells that linger for ages?

Re: Westline - question for Jez

Is there an option of a TV in the Cabin, cause i presume the seating isn't just there to watch people in the bed, or going in and out of the loo???

There is a 17" flatscreen with DVD as an option for the wall opposite.
