discovered partial de lamination of tiller at handle, only one leaf joint and only on one side for approx 6"
water ingress has meant I have had to strip tiller and am contemplating running Epoxy into delaminated joint and cramping till cured, then as belt and braces, apply a whipping twine reinforcement as a hand grip.
Now, do I varnish before I apply the whipping or after, or do I apply a few coats before and complete coating scheme once whipping has been applied or do I throw it away and get a new blank???
Any other suggestions for this repair will be gratefully received
