Hello , i just bought a westerly 39 sealord without mast. Im searching the original plans of the mast. Im looking in z-spars and another companys, but its dificult for me to find anything of information. If someone could help me, thanks, and sorry fof my english

Thanks for all the replyes, im goingo to try all of those contacts. In the another hand, i found a new mast in a very good price that was built for a sun odissey 44. Te mast section is the same that the sealords mast, but the lenght is smaller. The sealord original mast is 16,7m, and the sun odissey is 15,3 m. I ve not sails, so that is not a problem, and 16,7m in a 39 ft boat looks to much, isnt it?

Are you going to re-rig the boat entirely yourself ?
I would have thought you are better going to a reutable rigging company and asking them to do the whole job, designing, sourcing, fitting, ordering sails and fitting and then trsting the whole rig. Then when something goes wrong there is only one person to blame.

And god forbid when it all falls down there is only one firm to sue !

Edmo, can you give any more information on you're Sealord? ie Why is it without wrigging, where you are based and its hull number?

Sealords have a history of rig failure due to the deck fitting saddles failing - on the lower shrouds, I think. There are few posts about it on the WOA.
