I'd have expected a 1988 boat to be about £10K lower - say £45-55K depending on condition.

go into Boats For Sale at the top of this page, search for Westerly between 34 and 36 feet, in the UK, and 4 Rivieras will appear in the list.
You can then look at the details of each one, compare prices etc.

TBH ..... expect asking price to be best they expect ....... I think that many look at mag prices then ask .......
I would never pay more than lowest market ..... because inventory on top is sellers problem........ sorry but that is how I buy ......and hasn't failed yet ....

hi it does not have much inventory and what does come with her is out of date theres also no heating system and the wheel is broken i must be mad, none of this was told to me by the broker when i asked if anything needed to be fixed on her they said not as far as we know nothings wrong with her

hi i like the quote at the end ,theres just one of me briani .what i am looking for is a nice first time boat at least 34ft to liveaboard but i dont want a plastic looking boat i like wood inside i dont mind a bit of DIY just want a boat with the basic equipment in working order no osmosis and ready to sail, i have come to the conclusion they dont exsist in uk i hate boat buying thank you for all your responses so far sue

I remember viewing a boat which came with 12 sails and which, according to the broker, had never been raced and was "imacculate". It wasn't, and on raising the lid of the chart table I came across sailing instructions for a number of racing events, including the Scottish Series..!

thats what i thought they make you feel you horible if you dont trust them like something is wrong with you for being so careful why should i trust a salesman i have never met before and believe everything he says they just want idiots to buy there boats i guess
