So the question is whilst the white GRP is cleaning up nicely in the blue anti-slip areas the fungi is leaving black marks after cleaning can I just paint new anti slip over the top or will it need additional cleaning.

Your youtube link does not work.

Yes, you can overpaint the non slip areas, but will need detail preparation according to the International instructions. Not sure the original blue is still available.

Circular black patches? I had 'em on the Jouster. They're a pain to remove from the smooth stuff and even worse from the non-slip. It might be worth trying some bleach, but you are going to want to repaint anyway.

Westerly had their own Interdeck colour for non-slip which is unavailable but can be made using white Interdeck and some Oxford blue Toplac. However, yours looks lighter to me, so it may be that the non-slip has already been repainted.

It's easy to redo. Mask off with tape, slap the stuff on. To avoid lower areas where the old stuff came off, put on an extra coat there.

Some neat bleach is handy for cleaning green boats. Cheap stuff from Lidl, available in 5ltrs.

Paint it on, leave for a bit and wash off. If you get it on your clothes, you'll need new clothes :(

Sorry about the copy and paste did it on mobile phone.
The white gel coat is cleaning up nice with a good scrub just wasn't sure if the patces in the anti-slip would cause problems later but I think they are likely just residue

Not put a battery in yet but engine spins but paid low enough to factor in a replacement engine if needs be. Just will be careful not to throw too much at the old
