Westerly Blue

Are you asking about the dark blue stripe under the teak rubbing strip. On most boats Westerly made this as a blue strip in the gelcoat not with paint. The colour is therefore a gelcoat pigment not paint. Usually the other stripes (often red or gold) are sticky vynyl tapes.

I have just painted a "blue westerly stripe" on my Fulmar. I used the International Toplac apint called Oxford Blue because it is a close match. Be wary, Toplac is not easy to use and get a good finish. Also I strongly suspect that Toplac is the same paint that the paint group sell as Dulux exterior Weathershield paint which is MUCH cheaper.

Joanie, If it's the deck paint you are asking about, I think it is an International paint - apparently a 50% mixture of "Interdeck" Blue and Grey colours. (I called International with this question a while back, but have lost the notes I'm afraid).
