Westerley Oceanranger 38 v Contest 38?

Check OP they are there.

Ah, so they are, sorry, didn't click on them before.

So the Contest has a 2013 engine, a 2012 teak deck, a 2014 thruster, and hydraulic in-mast reefing.

The Westerly has an original engine, droopy-looking headlinings and a teak deck which looks very tired.

Westerly will in due course need either major work to remove probably original teak decking, or major money to replace. I quite like Oceanrangers, but the Contest looks by far the better buy. Teak decks as well but renewed so hopefully a lot longer before they expire.

In my experience Westerlys have a good turn of speed, so it might be a faster boat than the Contest. Some older Contests have balsa cored decks which have turned to mush so be careful and get a good survey.
