Thanks. They are stunning boats. I raced against a couple of them in my Stella when Burnham Week had a classic boat class.

Beautiful boats, - when I was a boy scout the local Vicar had one in his garden that he was doing up. - He subsequently had a new one built about 10 years ago (and was featured in Classic Boat).

Sandeman's have one for sale at the moment, - would definitely be one for the 'Lottery Win' flotilla.

Since this week I am the proud owner of the West Solent One Design the "Melody A"! Discovered by accident at a Dutch shipyard.
In the coming months we will work to restore this beautiful boat to its former glory and its original condition in accordance with the class regulations. As soon as we start, those interested can follow the restoration progress on YouTube!

You are a very lucky man or an unfortunate one, possibly both at the same time.:).

Enjoy
I did my first Round the island race in Mischief back when she was called Fide , lovely thing to sail and very very easy on the eye.

I wish you some fabulous sailing wherever you choose to go in Melody A

The owner of Berthon Boatyard had one which he put the apprentices quite recently on to do and learn from a most thorough restoration ..
