With the forecast this weekend I dont fancy coming back down the wallet in a w or sw 4 to 5 occ 6 so will stay in the Blackwater.
Would have gone to West Mersea, picked up a mooring, rowed ashore for a beer or two, maybe a curry maybe fish & chips then back to boat. Not now with an extra £10 for the buoy.
Maybe anchor in pyefleet instead, have the beers onboard and cook for myself.
