Downloaded their menu.
It is possible to eat there,for normal citizens from the sticks, via the bar menu on the terrace.
Bangers and Mash for £12.00 or so.
On my last visit,while delicately sipping a very expensive small lager,noticed the specials board proudly announcing "Gulls Eggs in Celeriac " at about three or four quid EACH.
Ethically sourced no doubt.

Oldgit - we will be visiting Chatham the week before, and cruising up to WID to meet the rest of TYWC. What time are RCC expecting to pass Chatham on the 25th?

The "expected" departure time is 07.30 from RCC moorings.
After the usual exit melee, expect to pass MDL lock gates around 08.15( ish)
18 boats at the moment .
Plan is 6 knots to Folly Point and then 8 - 10 knots with the tide for us slowcoaches.
Spect faster boats will leave later.
Was some expectation about a possible delay entering lock apon arrival,cannot imagine it is due to the number of boats all arriving at once..
As you are probably aware,that lock chamber could accomodate all the boats on the Thames and Medway at the same time at still have space. Our call is Sarah T.
Not entirely sure if we are at the front on this adventure or merely somewhere with the oiks in the middle ?

Yup, I know your boat - gave you a wave last year as you passed under the M4 bridge by Bray lock, but don't think you recognised us

Quite probably
Always a bit disconcerting when somebody is frantically waving at you and you are cluelessly searching the brain cell for who it could possibly be,not least of course if you have just cut somebody up at the last lock and they fully intend having full and frank discussion with you about the matter at the first opportunity.
Think the WID gates are supposed to opening around 14,00.
