West Country Harbours local knowledge please

We're off for a months long Cruise this weekend so would appreciate any recent reports of places we should make for or indeed miss. As Premier marina berth holders we have moorings available in their Dartmouth and Falmouth marinas

Plan is to Leave Port Solent Saturday evening catch the tide and make for Dartmouth in one hop. After a rest we would like to spend a week making for Falmouth after which WEATHER PERMITTING make for Scilly Isles. We draw 1.85 so not keen on taking the ground but happy to anchor if conditions permit.

Plan is as follows, Dartmouth, Salcombe , Newton Ferris , Fowey, Falmouth.

Any inside knowledge or suggestions would be much appreciated.

It looks like I'm a week ahead of you. Left Hayling Island on June 04 and got myself to the Scillies via Studland, Plymouth, Falmouth and Newlyn. The journey back from the Scillies on Tuesday 12 was exceptionally unpleasant with F6 and some pretty rough waves until I got past the Lizard. Falmouth was packed due to the Golden Globe, but managed to get into Mylor for a couple of nights. I'm Am currently on a swinging mooring in Fowey and should be in Salcombe tomorrow night (with a bit of motoring, I expect).
