Weather looks as though it may start to warm up a bit, though winds don't look great. I'm looking at going up Friday pm. Anyone else around this weekend?
Heading out for first sail of the season this Sunday. Will probably stay in Clyde as I only have 1 week on my own boat before joining friends boat at Ardfern the following week. Nice high moving in withh low to the north could still give a good fresh westerly. I have been watching the low to the south of the high around the Azores......in the past this low has pushed the high further North and Scotland gained the best benefit! fingers crossed for some good weather to come........have a great sail.
Depends on the weather. Looks as though it will be fairly settled, and I've had a hankering to try an overnight anchorage at Eilean Dubh Mor, so.... On the other hand there's also La Maison des Sans-Culottes.
Channel 77 OK? I won't call by DSC this time. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Going to try do it in about 10 days. SWMBO is staying home and letting 3 other rough assed guys out on her pride and joy with me. I have however been forewarned about "keep her clean" ..."don't leave grease on my cooker"...."leave a mess when I go onboard next and you are going swimming.........somewhere in the North Atlantic" etc etc etc Yawn.
Really looking forward to it. Weather looks hopeful for Monday visit to Fingals cave, but hey if we can't........we can't. Plenty other places to go.
Sunset strip it is.
I'll listen oot on Saturday - if ye've a mind tae visit Melfort on Friday I've a couple of natty reds I cuid dae wi a hon in shiftin.
Dear Heart is with me sae ah guess they troosies will remain up!
I shall be accompanied by Mme Sgeir, so there will be a fitting level of decorum for the occasion. She won't be free until Friday PM, but, only having the one car (or wan caur as some would have it) I might go up tomorrow by bus and potter aboot. Most likely not south of Kerrera until Saturday.
