The title says it, received from Nationwide today.

This may affect some who live or travel abroad on their yachts and rely on the Nationwide insurance cover.

Cover ends 31 December 2021, other Nationwide accounts may provide cover, or they will sell you insurance cover.

I always assumed it was the provebial "pile of poo". When I phoned to enquire how much it would cost to add on my very modest pre-existing conditions, the additional cost was more than some quotes for holiday insurance.

I haven't heard from NW on this. Have claimed twice in 5 years , both times for travel disruption and the claims were settled immediately over the phone so will be sorry if it goes.
Edit: just realised mine's not Flex European but Flexplus Worldwide cover, which seems to be remaining in place - for now.

Change your account to Nationwide Flexplus - same insurance cover is ongoing (I had both accounts and have been told over the past two years that Flex cover was ending at the end of this year.
Flexplus gives the same overseas ATM and credit card benefits as Flex used to,

I hope flex plus isn't disappearing! I am typing this in San Juan Puerto Rico having just flown here from Colombia today! I ditched my natwest account of 30 years just to get the insurance for this trip!

I only use Flex Plus for the no foreign ATM charges, but at £13 per month, seriously thinking of going Nat West also no foreign ATM charges but without the monthly charge.

I went the other way for the travel insurance!
