Might sound a bit like a normal thing for a friday but for us it is not well actually it is !!!
We are very lucky we have a 22 foot binliner with a mooring on the Thames which is no more than 2 minutes walk from home
we often go out on a daily basis tide permitting ok the trips can only be for a few hours but its good
Tonight or should I say early eve we left our mooring at 4.30 for a trip to the barmy arms at twickers not a long trip but never the less always enjoyable no robos in sight we arrive at the barmies moor up no traffick no parking problems no Nazi wardens to annoy us
Swmbo miniskip and myself enjoyed a pint in the warm late summer evening and then we had a nice trip back to our mooring
All I can say is how lucky can we get
Any other forumites got similar stories ??
BTW next time we will take cameras and give you a mini chuckaduck adventure with pics not so thrilling but should be fun
