Some thieving git has nicked the battens from Rival Spirit's new mainsail whilst she was sitting on her swinger in Keyhaven. I only put the sail on 10 days ago.

Oh, and there were two gouges down to the glass on starboard side and the BBQ in towrail had been whacked.

Words fail me.

Sorry to hear about your lose's. I hope its not to much trouble to replace them? Its so bl**dy annoying. You wonder what use they are to anybody...or have you upset someone?

Of course he has upset someone, loads of people i reckon, but that's no reason to pinch stuff off his boat imho.

Sadly, I think ChrisE will have to console himself with the fact that the battens were spelled incorrectly so they won't be much use to whoever pinched them, the ratbags.
