Sorry for the narrow boats Byron lol, they just kept appearing :-)

They no longer bother me I just accept them same as I do political correctness, special treatment for Muslims, 'elf n safety, 'uman rights and all the other poo of 21st century Britain.
just as I accept appx. £90 a week for pensioners and appx. £250 a week for illegal immigrants.

Stuck due to lock works between Hurley & Temple for the winter, made this to remind me its all worth it

The music is by a buddy of mine, he wrote the song, recorded it and did his own video in 24 hours (watch mine first though)

Enjoy :-)

I enjoyed the song, now I cant wait for spring 2011. Did the EA reward you in an attempt to make all the Thames boaters feel chirpier, hence paying their 2011 licences a bit swiftly !!! Well Done !!! :)

CHEERS,realy enjoyed that, makes you appreciate what you have, and realise that it will all be worth waiting for, when we are let out again.Dave

That's how the song made me feel. I am biased because Rick the singer has become a family friend but he has little money, works hard, so he can try and make it and entertain people. Of course he wants fame and money like any performer but he is so positive and never gives up. For a young guy he is quite an inspiration. Still love my river pics more than the city lol. Here is to sunshine, boats and days on the river :-)

Nice to hear from you Barry, best thing I ever did. The old cash box is still the step into the cabin and the table you crafted is brilliant in the cockpit. We all love her and the river, hope you are well and one day we will meet for that beer I promised you :-)

Great song ! I listened this morning while i was waiting for the kettle to boil and it was a great start to the day ! I liked your pictures aswell :D

Roll on summer

Superb song, excellent photos to remind us how great this stretch of river is, always smile when I see the "Love Shack" (Blue House Boat) at Hambledon Mill

Brilliant vid!! Brings back happy memories of the summer for us too.

Love the song, your friend is very talented!

Emma

As a fellow boater trapped between the same locks it cheered me up to think of all the fun on the river we hope to have next season. Lovey video.

Until then we will have to get our 'fix' by checking on the boat and enjoying a cuppa while sat dreaming of cruising the Thames.
