Well priced Paddle Boards in France

For those who boat in France I just got an email form UBALDI who have Paddle Boards for E189! If I didn't have one already I would be signing up.

If you are a novice to paddle boarding, I understand that a 6" thick board will be easier for beginners.
Most cheap ones are only 4" thick.
Incidentally, we have a 6" one and a fat git like me can only stand up for about 3 seconds!!
So on this basis I would stand no chance on a 4" thick one.

Mine is a 10cm board and yes the first few paddles were short lived events, I hardly end up in la Mer these days.

If you check the specs, most have max weight capacities. I've just bought 2 paddle boards both 6" thick, one 9' 6" long model and one 15' long model which is really a 2 person board. Guess which fat barsteward is going to be trying to stand up on the 15' model?

Worst comes to the worst I might fit a motor to it and turn it into a boat. There are kayak seats available for it

Yes but only if I can confiscate your phone and any camera equipment whilst I'm trying to stand up on this thing. There's no way I'm allowing any photographic evidence of my pathetic attempts to stand up on a SUP to find its way onto this forum

I've only been in a 2 man kayak once.
That was with SWMBO at the front.
It took her a long time to realise that she was the only one paddling!!
