to pass your yachtmasters, why did it take you so long? Surely any idiot could get it in their first year of being on the water, never mind the requirement to have 50 days experience, 5 passages of over 60 miles including 2 overnight, at least 2500 miles in total and access to a boat of over 24'.

All this and passing on valuable advice to all and sundry within months of getting your first boat, it's surely all a piece of p##s, nothing at all to be proud of.

What say you Jimi, is your recent triumph all it's cracked up to be.................? /forums/images/icons/smile.gif /forums/images/icons/wink.gif /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

no comment .. I'm incommunicado on /forums/images/icons/smile.gif issues! But seriously it is a concern and whilst 2500 miles is a lot of experience as skipper its bugger all when perched on the windward rail .. which is what many of the mile builder things are!

What's a windward rail, is that somewhere you sit waiting for a train on a breezy nite after a good curry?
