Well it\'s OK for some. Hissing rain regardless......(Pics)

Hi all

Today in the hissing rain and wind and total crap here on the Isle of Man look what appeared in Port Erin bay. Just had to get some pics. I appologise for the lack of quality, but what can you do when your shoes leak.
Just to show it was Port Erin, here's Milners tower on Bradda Head,

I needed the binocs to read the name.....
The Clipper Adventurer. Only takes 127 passengers, Ice breaker type. Seems she was picking up passengers here. There were four coach loads waiting to be ferried out. In a RIBish for gawds sake. ah well !!!!

Of course my boat is in Port St Mary, and the weather was really nasty on that side today, so it was better for the passengers to be collectd on the shelterd side. Mind you WE have been able to get out on three of the last four days. Good fishing too and a basking shark seen and reported as well.
If this keeps up for a few days more I WILL get the autopilot up and running. The GPS works a treat now. so maybe it's not all bad,

Enjoy your boating........some summer eh?????

I think there is something "Deep" going on and Drew is holding back.
Orange floating thing, peeps in Yellow pointing, black SBS type assault craft, white round sphere on the Mother Ship, colour coded troop carriers ashore.
Port Erin Seafront looks abandoned.
And it's Friday the 13th.
The Plot thickens. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Yes. and there are leading lights as welll on the beach that keep you well clear of any obstacles. However not many boats come in here at night, Pity raelly as I feel that a completed night voyage and arriving exactly where you should be is very very satisfying.

Have fun, This afternoon the sun is shining, blue sky,,,,,BUT the waves are breaking and there are a lot of white horses out there, Trouble is that by the time they flatten out,.,. the wind is kicking them up again.....

It just ain't fair.

Drew.
