....for a change :D

Returning from the Bray BBQ at Hurley (Lovely location by the way) towards Marlow, and negotiated the usual stationary Rowers in the middle of the channel, no real problem as we're quite used to them just sitting around waiting for instructions from the guy in the little motorboat, rounded the next bend to see no less than four Rowers coming towards us, all abreast and covering the entire stream.

Not a big issue on a pleasant Sunday, so we stuck close to the starboard bank, and allowed them to carry on hogging the whole River, after all they do pay for a licence after all...(cue Apollo...)

The wonderful sight of the downstream Rowers taking out at least two of the upstream Rowers made it all worthwhile I can assure you...:D

There were clattering oars, boats sideways all over the shop and many foolish looking people, even by rowing standards, and perhaps a little lesson for them to watch where they were going.

The wondrous question has to be though...'Why did the guy in the motorised training boat not forsee the obvious result of all those boats heading on an inevitable collision course for each other?:confused::confused:

A great day was had by all (On No Regrets at least...) :)

I still berate myself not anticipating the carnage and videoing it for you guys...:D

Please accept my humblest apologies....:o

Very encouraging to note that their actions are directed (if there's anything positive in their actions to their own kind as well.

Perhaps rowers can only just about do one thing at once (that's just pull an oar)..

Oh what a missed opportunity. That pic could have been to Bray Cruiser News what a topless picture of royalty is to lesser magazines
