The conraption she was going to suspended in for the night..

Safely in the slings....and yep we are a bit old fashioned down here but hey it works....! She spent the night in the cradle waiting to wet her bottom on the next mornings tide.

Down the slip, naughty swells and a force 5/6 on the starboard beam made my arse twitch I can tell you!

And hey presto we got her to her berth with no probs at all,ok my mate who has the same boat helmed for me as he was used to the size windage etc!

As you will see we wasted no time in re naming her (PAL) her old name didnt really suit so a follow on from our last Time-Out was the logical.

Gotta say we are well pleased with her and now looking forward to some decent conditions!

So what you all think?

Rob,

She looks great, you should be a very happy chap. I must confess to trying to buy a new (import) 2858 in 2003 but was put off with large petrol. Is yours diesel?

One other thing, how do you go on driving her from inside with the toilet blocking the rear view?

Cheers

Not alot beats the excitement of getting a new boat. I've always admired these 'compact' flybridges as you seem to get alot of boat for the length, and have looked over a couple myself. That engine conversion must make her quite desireable! Be interesting to hear how she goes and how thirsty.
Good luck.
