.....despite your boats being built in the black country by postmen (according to a Fairline dealer) I am well impressed by the alternative propulson methods proposed for the C37/9 Coupe (MBY page 16). It will be very interesting to see how many people opt for Trimax or Arnesons. Maybe if demand is sufficient then Volvo may actually have to work for their sales.

Perhaps one day Sealine might actually drop the caravan style portholes!
 
Trimax or Arnesons certainly an interesting concept, but I wonder how much of a challenge a boat fitted with these will be to resell in a few years?

Also, who's going to service/repair them? What engines do they run with and will the engine servicing agent be able to handle the drives as well?
 
It would appear to depend on the reputation the boat gets. For example I believe that S41's are a little difficult to shift due to their windage and parking difficulties. One would hope that if it's a good boat with no reliability problems then people will not be put off buying them second hand.
