Welder in or near Neyland Pembrokeshire I am new to boats

Hi
I am new to Forums and new to boats.

My partner and I have recently bought a 33ft steel boat, she does not fit in any category as she was made from a ships life boat back in the 1960's. She looks like a small fishing boat.
We live aboard and are very comfortable.
This year sooner rather than later we want to take her out of the water and have a good look at her hull, we have some old Sea Cocks, some still in use & some redundant. We will get her ultra sounded.
What I need to know is:
1) Where to get her lifted out.
2) Who to get her ultra sounded by.
3) Who to employ to do the Sea Cock renovation and welding if needed.

We are at Neyland nr Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire.

Can't help you with Questions 1 and 3 but I am sure asking around the marinas and docks there you will find welders

Re question 2

We have a steel boat and our welder looked in Yellow pages and found a man who does "NDT" Non Destructive Testing, this is much better than a man with a hammer. The NDT guys also usually do weld testing as well.

There is a big refinery near you so there must be someone in the area - good luck

It's not, even I can do it to a bodgetastic standard, but I wouldn't make welding up my hull my first project

Thats right so practice alot on scrap first!
