The next road sign read:

"do not take drugs and drive" nice upgrade from the drink and drive signs in England

Third sign encountered read

"drive with consideration to other road users" thoughts of road rage epidemics crossed my mind

Last sign read

"drive with consideration to the road conditions" joy riders taking the opportunity to do wheel spins in the surface water deposited by the horizontal rain encountered since entering the country?

May see you online in a couple of days on returning to Milton Keynes if I survive

They are the masters of the patronising roadside sign up there. No doubt there's one somewhere that says 'now please wash your hands'...

My SWMBO flew into Edinburgh this afternoon and drove to somwhere near Glasgow, I will ask her if she saw any of these signs when she calls home later.

That would have been as she had an important appointment to attend, her plane landed at 13-45 so only just made it

Not when first appointment was in Edinburgh before driving to Glasgow, just spoken to her and due to wind being stronger in right direction the plane arrived 20 mins earlier, some good has come from this bad weather
